Policy 801.1 NON-EMERGENCY FIRE DEPARTMENT STANDBY FEE SCHEDULE 

Engine Company                                             $100.00 per hour
Ambulance                                                         $90.00 per hour
Brush Truck                                                       $75.00 per hour
In-District Football Standby                   $175.00 per game
Out of District Football Standby          $250.00 per game

Stand-by fees shall be billed directly by the District and not a vendor

Any patient transported will be charged according to 801.0

 

Policy 801.0 AMBULANCE FEE SCHEDULE 

All patients that receive treatment shall be billed according to the following fee schedule:

  1. BLS Transport:                          $1000.00 (resident)                $2000.00 (Non-resident)
  2. ALS1 Transport:                       $1,200.00 (resident)               $2400..00 (non-resident)
  3. ALS2 Transport:                       $1400.00 (resident)                $2800.00 (non-resident)
  4. Transport per Mile:                $21.00/mile (resident)           $21.00/mile (non-resident)
  5. Treat and Release Call:        $500.00 (resident)                   $750.00 (non-Resident)
  6. SCT:                                                 $1800.00 (resident)                $3600.00 (non-resident)

A third-party vendor shall perform all patient billing.

  • A report shall be generated by the vendor and provided to the Board monthly indicating the status of every account assigned to billing

Patients shall be billed at the appropriate base rate determined by the level of care performed by the Fire District staff. If no ALS procedure or assessment was performed, then the patient shall be billed the BLS rate.

All patients that receive treatment preparing them for transport via an air ambulance shall be billed at the appropriate base rate determined by the level of care performed by the Fire District staff.

Fire District staff and direct family members shall receive a 100% discount applied after the claim has been filed with all applicable insurance companies and benefit plans.

  • Retired Fire District staff and direct family members shall receive the same discount

Any mutual aid fire department employee that is transported while performing duties for the Fire District shall not be billed.
